Boston Dynamics Legged Squad Support System (LS3) Carrying Load for Soldiers
  • 6 years ago
Marines field test a Boston Dynamics LS3 at the Kahuku Training Area in Oahu, Hawaii. The Legged Squad Support System (LS3), also known as AlphaDog, is a DARPA project for a legged robot which could function autonomously as a packhorse for a squad of soldiers. Like BigDog, its quadruped predecessor, the LS3 is ruggedized for military use, with the ability to operate in hot, cold, wet, and dirty environments. -http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legged_S...
