Sarah Sanders Slams 'Completely Disconnected' Hillary Clinton For 'Backward' Remark

Sarah Sanders on Thursday slammed Hillary Clinton for her recent remarks about Trump supporters.

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders on Thursday slammed Hillary Clinton for recently characterizing the Trump campaign as "backward" looking.
When asked by a reporter about Clinton's comment, Sanders said at a press briefing, "I think that's a perfect example of why Hillary Clinton is not in the White House."
"She is completely disconnected from the American public, and certainly, I think shows her disdain for the millions and millions of Americans who came out and voted and supported President Trump and still support him today," Sanders added.
Clinton spoke at an event in India over the weekend and painted a rather bleak picture of Trump supporters, at one point asserting that they "didn't like black people getting rights," reports the Washington Post. Her assessment of the group began with her pointing out that the states she won are "the places that represent two-thirds of America's gross domestic product."  "So I won the places that are optimistic, diverse, dynamic, moving forward," Clinton continued. CNN reports that she went on to note that President Trump's "whole campaign — 'Make America Great Again' — was looking backward."
"You know, you didn't like black people getting rights; you don't like women, you know, getting jobs; you don't want to, you know, see that Indian American succeeding more than you are — you know, whatever your problem is, I'm gonna solve it," Clinton further noted. When the event's host suggested that nations get the government they deserve, she said, "I would have to say, no, we did not deserve that."
