FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions):\r
\r
How long have you been doing clay for?\r
Since new when I received polymer clay for my 16th birthday in January.\r
\r
Where do you live?\r
Australia :)\r
\r
What camera do you use?\r
A Canon 70D and most of the time with an 18-135mm lens.\r
\r
Do you sell your creations?\r
Yes I do! I have an online store called Creative Rachy which you can find here: \r
If there is nothing currently listed or it says this shop is under construction, it most likely means that I am out of stock. I always post on my social media about when shop restocks will be happening :)\r
\r
What glaze do you use?\r
Cabots Cabothane Clear Varnish (gloss finish) which I purchase from Bunnings Warehouse. It is a polyurethane varnish which is designed for varnishing wooden surfaces like furniture and floors, but a lot of crafters use it on polymer clay and with works really well! If you live in the US, Varathane Polyurethane is very similar.\r
\r
What clay brands do you use?\r
Mainly Sculpey İ, Premo and Fimo, although I do have some other cheaper brands in my collection which I used sometimes. I dont particularly have a favourite brand.\r
\r
Where can I buy clay?\r
Most craft stores stock polymer clay! In Australia, you can buy it from Spotlight, Lincraft or Riot. Outside of Australia you can buy it from Michaels, Hobby Lobby etc. You can of course also buy it from a number of online shops- just Google some and see which you prefer and will ship to you!\r
\r
Where did you buy the little glass bottles?\r
I got them from my local dollar store (Im sure you can get them at Michaels too)\r
\r
Where do you buy micromarbles?\r
I get them from Spotlight (an Australian craft store) and also use the ones you can get in nail art kits (caviar beads- they are the same thing). If you cant find them in your local craft store there are also lots of shops online that sell them! \r
\r
Where can I buy a clay storage box?\r
Answer: Any craft store or discount store! They are usually found in the beading section or hardware section (for storing nails etc.)\r
\r
I am a beginner at polymer clay. Do you have any other tips for me?\r
Yes! I made a whole video including my top tips and tricks which you can find here: \r
