Investigation Launched as Man, 66, Hits Ground While Being Removed From Arizona Social Security Office

Police in Pheonix, Arizona, said they were investigating a possible assault after a video posted to social media on February 22 showed a 66-year-old man hitting the ground during a confrontation with a security guard, according to local reports.Video of the incident was posted to YouTube by Tracy James, who said she believed the confrontation began when the man refused to leave the office. James said she escorted the man to an outer entrance, and planned to have him wait there while she bought her car around to the entrance.James said she began filming a subsequent confrontation when the guard became increasingly aggressive. The footage shows the guard pushing the man through the front entrance, before the man hits the ground. The guard can be heard saying the man fell, while witnesses at the scene say he was pushed.ABC 15 Arizona said police were subsequently called to the incident but the extent of the man’s injuries were unknown.
