Trackmaster Thomas egg express Unboxing review and first run

Hey Guys and Gals here we have the Target exclusive Easter Thomas called Thomas Egg Express. I believe this set is from new and predates the later version of Thomas.\r

I got this on ebay last week and pleased it arrived before Easter so I could ually make a seasonal video review hehe. \r

So this Thomas has a special Banner on his side which reads Egg Decorating Contest the banner is part of the sticker which covers the whole side of the Thomas, He comes with 2 trucks the first is a clear tank car which contains I presume some kind of egg decorating dye or paint (not an ual liquid though), the second truck is a farm truck which contains a hay bale full of decorated eggs.\r

Apart from those details there is not anything different about this Thomas, it is the pre new good old version that many of us have multiples of. This one took a tap to get going out of the box and it was super quiet but very slow and suffered from being too light over some sections of track and spinning its wheels. The Thomas itself is not that interesting but a nice variation for the collection and the trucks and unique cargo are also nice for the collection.\r

Gordon is needed for a fast egg train! In contrast to Thomas very slow speed Gordon is needed to haul a load of yummy chocolate eggs for the people of plastic town (and me). We are eating the eggs and they taste extra good maybe because they were hauled by very fast Gordon? \r

I give this Thomas egg express a score of 8/10 the boring old Thomas has a unique banner but slow running and not enough weight is the downfall of this loco. The trucks are nice and definitely within the Easter theme of eggs.\r
