Car FYI at 2018 Motorama Show: Prestone Ring Brothers 1972 AMC "Defiant!" Javelin

Commissioned by Prestone, the talents of the Ring Brothers were unleashed on a 1972 AMC Javelin that was introduced at the 2017 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. A showpiece called "Defiant!", the custom Jalop Gold-painted Javelin many modifications includes a lengthened wheelbase, 20-inch HRE performance wheels, Chevrolet Camaro front suspension and a unique interior with Upholstery Unlimited seats.
Under the Defiant! Javelin's massive hood bulge is a 6.2-liter MOPAR HEMI V-8 crate engine derived from the Dodge Charger and Challenger SRT Hellcat. Through the addition of a Whippie 4.5-liter supercharger unit, 1,036 horsepower is channeled to the ground through an automatic transmission.
Making its Canadian show debut at the 2018 Motorama Custom Car and Motorsports Expo, the Ring Brothers' AMC Defiant! Javelin attention at the SEMA Show as well as its cover appearance on Hot Rod magazine has made the vehicle a popular sight.
