THE NOMADIC LIFE OF CIRCUS PEOPLE (Vol. 2 of 3)\r
Some ten minutes after the last Hoorn Sunday show, the pull down had begun. Within some 4.5 hours, the entire circus ground was cleared, and the hard working circus people ended their working day. The departure for the next show (Hulst) was scheduled the following day. Six guys handle the teardown of this vinyl tent (and some of them double as performers), while the owner-ringmaster, Alex Sijm, handles the books.\r

Het is zondagmiddag 20 maart als Circus Sijm direct aansluitend op de laatste show haar tent weer opbreekt. Na een succesvolle reeks van goed bezochte shows steekt de crew de handen weer flink uit de mouwen. Maandagmiddag staat de reis van Hoorn richting Belgische grens (Hulst) op de planning. In de grensregio staan meerdere locaties op het programma (inclusief België) voor een reeks besloten voorstellingen. Na het Paasweekeinde keert Circus Sijm weer terug naar Noordholland.
