[NDS] Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2 Quick Walkthrough (Part 15 - Rigor Mortex)

This part covers the final chambers inside the Dark World, and the battle against Rigor Mortex.\r
\r
Firstly, note that Rigor Mortex has the Bouncer trait, which gives it permanent Bounce that cannot be dispelled by Disruptive Wave, so put your casters away for this battle.\r
Secondly, watch out for its Frizz Cracker skill. It does massive Frizz- and Crack-based magic damage, and can easily 1-shot one of your monsters if its under-leveled, or has weakness to either Frizz or Crack. I dont think there are any monsters that resist both, but some are immune to magic, like the metal slimes, Lump Wizard, and Wight King (and Firespirit absorbs it) - however, most of them are casters themselves, so they cant do anything back.\r
Last, but not least, Rigor Mortex has Unnatural Order, which reverses speed priority to make the slowest monster go first (like Trick Room in Pokémon). It has minimal speed, so it will be guaranteed to go first when the skill is in effect. However, it does have the joke trait, Foot Dragger, to make it miss a turn once in a while, along with a lackluster AI that picks skills completely at random.\r
\r
Anyway, just bring your hardest physical hitters, and some Oomph Powders and/or Timbrels of Tension, and you should have little trouble against it.\r

Footnote:\r
1. I will try my best not to spoil the main story for you, so I might need to edit out some cut-scenes.\r
2. Due to time constraint, I will try to avoid unnecessary battles, or edit them out after. I will also do all my grinding, catching, and syntheses off-screen.\r
3. My parties in the game may be over-leveled, but thats because I want to get through the stages as quickly as possible, without grinding on the way (which youll probably do).\r
*4. Its hard to do video walkthroughs for this kind of games, so comments and suggestions are welcome. But, if you dont like it, please kindly go watch something else, and dont flame.
