March new; Twins @ 22 months old

*The baby gates have been down for a month now and the twins are enjoying the extra space. They learnt quickly what they are allowed to touch but cheeky Declan still tries to sneak in the fridge and kitchen drawers. One day I was changing Taylas nappy and came back to find Declan sitting on the floor with a plastic bowl pouring himself some tomato sauce. (We put childproof locks on the cupboards with cleaning products and anything they could seriously hurt themselves with but theres still things they can get into a make a mess. and Declan is the KING of Mess) hahaha\r

*Declan and Tayla have learnt lots of new words this month. They still arent talking in sentences but are putting words together. Declan says put it back when he watches me get things out of the fridge and put it back, and when i unpack the dishwasher. Tayla is doing really well too and is a bit easier to understand with her words.\r
\r
*Declan loves to sing bob the builder although it sounds more like Bob da bill-da-ba. Taylas favourite song at the moment is row row row your boat. At daycare they sing the last part of the song as if you see a crocodile dont forget to scream aaaah. The twins love it and scream at the end of EVERY song now. \r
\r
*The twins had a visit recently from their Great Gran and Great Aunt who are holidaying from interstate. It was the first time Declan and Tayla have met them and they couldnt wait to show off their favourite teddies, balls and shoes.\r

*Declan and Tayla still love their art ivities, this month they did lots of painting, colouring and even made a little flower pot for their Nanna when she was sick in the hospital. \r

*One of the highlights of this month was a dress-up cowboys and Indians party we went to. Tayla had her first turn on a jumping castle. Declan wasnt too keen on the idea but once Tayla saw her cousin Jazzie jumping around she thought she would give it a go. \r

Were looking forward to April - Weve got their cousins birthday party, Easter and my birthday ;)\r
