These friendly whales want you to pet them

Sightseers got the chance of a lifetime to pet Pacific gray whales in the waters off of Baja California, Mexico, in February 2018.
In the spring of each year, Pacific gray whales migrate from Alaska to Baja California, Mexico, to give birth to their calves.
Tour boats take people onto the bays, and if you’re lucky, the mothers and their curious calves will come up to the boat and actually let you pet them.
