How To Make Crispy Plantain Chips

Ingredients:\r
green plantain\r
salt\r
cooking oil\r

Method:\r
1 wash and peel the plantain\r
2 Use the wide side of your grater to shred the plantain into thin slices.\r
3 sprinkle a little salt on the plantain\r
4 spread the sliced plantain on a tray and leave in warm oven for about 5-10 minutes. (optional)\r
5 Heat the vegetable oil\r
6 Put the sliced plantain into the oil, individually to prevent them for sticking together. \r
7 Remove after about 2-3 minutes\r
8 Allow to cool and serve as a starter or snack with roasted peanuts.
