Hundreds of Police Show Support As Florida Shooting School Reopens
  • 6 years ago
On Wednesday, students returned to Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on Wednesday, bearing white roses and wearing white ribbons to commemorate the 17 people killed there just two weeks ago. The mood was subdued as roughly 3,000 teenagers walked past hundreds of uniformed police officers to resume classes at the school. Parents who had never accompanied their children to high school tagged along with their teens to offer moral support.
