Ford North American President Fired Over 'Inappropriate Behavior' Raj Nair was fired Wednesday after an internal investigation by Ford. Ford is deeply committed to providing and nurturing a safe and respectful culture and we expect our leaders to fully uphold these values. Nair has been head of Ford's North America division since June 2017. I sincerely regret that there have been instances where I have not exhibited leadership behaviors consistent with the principles that the Company and I have always espoused. Ford has come under scrutiny in the past when it comes to sexual harassment claims on the factory floor. Its Chicago plant has been subject to allegations brought by women saying they were harassed and bullied.
