Disney Reportedly Bringing New 'Muppets' Series to Streaming Service The Hollywood Reporter states that 'The Muppets' are expected to come back in the form of a new TV series for the companies' upcoming streaming service. Last fall, Disney announced that it will populate its service with original films
and series. Disney acquired The Muppets Studio in 2004 and created a Muppets TV series for ABC, which was canceled after
one season. An exact debut for the streaming service is not yet known by The Verge reports it could launch sometime next year in the U.S.
