The eight million units sold were more than the entire Swiss watch industry, according to data reported by the Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry. “It was our best quarter ever for the Apple Watch with over 50% growth in revenue and units for the fourth quarter in a row and strong double-digit growth in every geographic segment.” More than 18 million Apple Watches were sold in 2017, an increase of more than 50 percent from 2016.
