All 66 Passengers, Crew Believed Dead After Plane Crash In Central Iran

According to a report by Reuters, all 65 passengers and crew are feared dead after a domestic flight crashed in central Iran on Sunday due to bad weather while passing over a mountainous region. While a spokesman for Iranian carrier Aseman Airlines stated on state television that everyone was dead, the airline later issued a statement saying it could not reach the crash site and could not “accurately and definitely confirm” that everyone had been killed in the crash.
