Oprah Winfrey did "think about" running for President for a short time.
After receiving her Cecil B. Demille award and her rousing speech at the Golden Globes, many called for Oprah to run for president, something which she now admits she considered doing for a short time.
She pondered on Gayle King’s advice on considering about the position, and even claimed that she had a lot of wealthy men calling her, telling her they’d run her campaign and would raise billions of dollars.
However, the 64-yr-old TV personality has now decided against the idea, believing that she never felt she was supposed to be political. Oprah stated that if God wanted her to run, God would tell her and so far that message hasn’t come through.
