In an absolutely sickening act of violence this week, there was a mass shooting at a high school in Parkland, Florida, leaving 17 victims dead. Cubs first baseman, Anthony Rizzo, graduated from that same high school, Marjory Stoneman Douglas, in 2007. Upon hearing the news of his alma mater, Rizzo immediately departed spring training in Arizona to go home and offer support to the community.
