Fiercely political film ‘Daasdev’, which stars Richa Chadha as Paro, Aditi Rao Hydari as Chandni and Rahul Bhatt as Dev, will show a modern take on Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay's classic novel “Devdas” which will be different from two Bollywood adaptations of the tale- Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Devdas and Anurag Kashyap's Dev D. Finally the trailer of the romantic thriller is out and it depicts a reverse tale of Sarat Chandra Chatterjee’s Devdas where Dev ultimately breaks free from his addictions and dynastic ambitions of his family, Paro does not stay trapped behind a big gate inside her husband's house and Chandni's character has many shades to her this time.
