Lorenzo Bonarini è un compositore, cantante e chitarrista nato il 27 giugno 1980, lo stesso giorno in cui il Dc9 Itavia finiva nel mare di Ustica e Bob Marley suonava allo stadio San Siro. Ha scritto musica per vari contesti: dal jazz, con numerosi musicisti della scena padovana, alle colonne sonore, con il laboratorio di cinema Zalab, all’Hip Hop con i Dozhens, al reggae dancehall insieme al Bom Chilom Sound, fino al cantautorato e al grunge rock.

Il 7 novembre 2016 se ne andava Leonard Cohen e pochi giorni dopo ho scritto questa canzone e in seguito tutto l'album Bag of Seeds. Mi sembrava che scrivere canzoni fosse l'unico modo per raddrizzare quell'addio e liberare il mio riverbero di tutta quella bellezza in transito. Questa è la mia canzone per Leonard, esiste a causa sua. La presa di sale del titolo serve a ricordarmi di non perdermi troppo a cercare di capire chi sono o a tener conto delle mutazioni con le parole, le definizioni. Il senso del tempo mi sfuggirà sempre se sto li a scandirne tutti i battiti, farei meglio ad ascoltare la musica che ci sta sopra a questo metronomo e provare a danzarci con qualcuno.
Lorenzo Bonarini is a singer, song writer and guitarist born on June 27th 1980. It was the day when the Dc-9 Itavia crashed into the sea near Ustica (a mediterrean island, sadly famous for this episode involving Libyan, Italian and French intelligence agencies). On the other side it was the day when Bob Marley played at the San Siro Stadium in Milan, his only time in Italy. He has written music for tv show, movies, documentary as well as for jazz ensamble and many other as rock, reggae, grunge, HIp Hop.
About the song - Pinch of salt
Leonard Cohen died on November 7th 2016 and a few days later I wrote this song and then the album Bag of Seeds. It seemed to me that writing songs was the only way to straighten that farewell, freeing my reverberation of all that beauty in transit. This is my song for Leonard, it exists because of him. The pinch of salt is what should remind me not to lose too much time tryin to understand with words who I am and all fo my mutations in life. The sense of it all to me it's not in following every beat but in the music that is on top of it, and the try to dance with someone over this metronome.
