Kochi Shipyard : Powerful blast kills 5 people, 11 injured | Oneindia News

At least five people were killed and 11 injured following a blast in a water tank at the Kochi Shipyard on Tuesday, reports said. The blast occurred on Sagar Bhushan ship which belongs to ONGC. The injured have been taken to a hospital. Eleven persons trapped inside the ship were evacuated and rushed to various hospitals in the city, the Cochin shipyard spokesperson said. Police and fire and rescue service personnel have rushed to the yard to carry out rescue operations. Watch this video to know more about the news.
