Volunteers plant daffodils at Community Healing Garden
  • 6 years ago
Over 250 volunteers planted daffodil bulbs at the Community Healing Garden Saturday. Survivors, families of victims and locals came to help. Some brought their children, who placed painted rocks around the garden beds. The flowers should bloom by mid-April. Debby Allen, mother of victim Chris Roybal, was there. “I just wanted (the garden) to be beautiful,” Allen said. “I wanted anything that represents him to be beautiful. "
