The white quacker never lets its owner go anywhere alone, according to the filmer.

The amusing behaviour of the bird is likely caused by mental imprinting rather than training.

Ducks, geese and other birds have been shown to imprint on the first moving stimulus they see shortly after hatching.

They will then follow that stimulus around, even if it very obviously isn't their mother.
