Angela Merkel seals deal with Germany's Social Democratic Party, is it good news for world GDP?

Germany is finally set to get a new government. Angela Merkel will be chancellor and the Foreign and Finance Minister jobs will be occupied by the centre-left Social Democratic Party (SPD). The new GroKo looks a lot like the first version back in 2005. After four months of will-they-won’t-they talks, a dense 177-page coalition agreement was published by the Christian Democrats (CDU) and SPD.
