Starboard Tack originally opened back in 1971 as a swanky supper club and after-hours nightspot. Frank Sinatra hung out there. Tom Jones had his own private booth The nautical-themed bar later became Port Tack and Gilligan's Hideaway. Last spring, local mixologists Bryant Jane and Lyle Cervenka brought Starboard Tack back to life. In the past year, Starboard Tack has become a bustling late-night hang and started hosting more and more live shows, making it one of the city's best "new" bars.
