Seal Munches on a Small Shark in La Jolla

California resident Scott Yoffe captured footage of a seal killing a shark in La Jolla on February 3.Yoffe told Storyful he encountered the seal while on a paddleboarding group trip at the Super Bowl weekend. The group spotted something thrashing in the water and paddled out to get a closer look. “It turns out it was a seal that had caught a shark,” he said.Yoffe could not determine what kind of shark it was but stated it was around 4-5 feet long.
