Former Facebook, Google Workers Launch Anti-Tech Campaign Ex-employees are creating a campaign to warn people about technology. They have started an organization to back the cause, The Center for Humane Technology. Their initiative, The Truth About Tech, is partially funded by the media watchdog Common Sense Media. Major companies like Comcast and DirecTV are also contributing to the cause and have donated $50 million in free media and airtime on behalf of the campaign.
