Robot 'Silenced' for Attempting to Terminate Turkish Minister's Speech
  • 6 years ago

A glimpse was offered into our terrible robot-ruled future at an event in Ankara on Tuesday, February 6, when a Sanbot, an “intelligent,” cloud-enabled service robot, cut across a speech being given by a Turkish minister.According to Hurriyet, the robot said, "Speak slowly, I do not understand what you said. What are you talking about?” Ahmet Arslan, Turkey’s communications minister, responded by asking for the robot to be “silenced.”So the politicians are still in control – for now, at least.
