The game was won due in large part to the effort of quarterback Nick Foles, who was named Super Bowl MVP after the game. While speaking after the game, Foles detailed how close he was to retiring after a tough stretch earlier in his career. After the game, Foles opened about just how close he was to leaving football for good.
