President Trump on Monday thanked Fox News for "exposing the truth."
President Trump on Monday thanked Fox News show 'Fox & Friends' for exposing the truth.
"Thank you to @foxandfriends for exposing the truth. Perhaps that's why your ratings are soooo much better than your untruthful competition!" Trump wrote on Twitter.
This is not the first time the president has made positive comments about the show.
"Trump is an avid viewer of Fox News and its morning program 'Fox & Friends,' which is seen as offering more favorable coverage of the administration than other news outlets," according to a New York Times piece. "His early morning tweets often reference coverage on the program."
Another New York Times report noted he watches the show for "comfort and messaging ideas."
"I have to say, Fox & Friends in the morning, they're very honorable people. They're very -- not because they're good, because they hit me also when I do something wrong. But they have the most honest morning show. That's all I can say," Trump said at a press conference last year.
