'Star Wars: The Last Jedi' Was Always The Title

It's not uncommon for the title of a movie to go through several changes until the final version sticks. When it came to Star Wars: The Last Jedi, though, it seems like the movie's writer and director knew from the very beginning what it would be named.
At a recent question and answer session at IMAX headquarters, Rian Johnson explained that when it came to naming his installment of the Star Wars sequel trilogy, there was never any question what he planned to call it. He revealed that he had picked the name out prior to even working on the script.
