Indianapolis Colts' Edwin Jackson Dead at 34 According to the Indiana State Police Department, Jackson was hit and killed by a suspected drunk driver. The accident occurred on February 4 along the side of Interstate 70 in Indianapolis. The reports state Jackson was struck when the driver drove onto the shoulder of the road and hit the rear of the vehicle. Jackson's suspected ride-share driver, Jeffrey Monroe, was also killed. The suspect, Alex Cabrera Gonsales, was arrested while attempting to flee the scene. The Colts signed Jackson, who was a linebacker, back in December 2015.
