Dad in hilarious frozen pool cannonball fail

This is the hilarious moment a dad from Arkansas in the USA fails spectacularly when attempting to do a cannonball into a frozen pool.
The plan - if you can really call it that - is to leap from the side of the pool onto a mattress positioned on top of the ice.
With his children watching, the dad jumps, lands on the mattress but his head flies back hitting the ice so hard that it (the ice) cracks.
As his children laugh hysterically, the poor dad rolls around in agony.
Fortunately, his discomfort was only temporary and he was not seriously hurt in the incident.
