Archaeologists Uncover 4,400-Year-Old Tomb in Egypt The tomb was discovered near the Giza plateau outside Cairo. Archaeologists say the the tomb likely belonged to a woman known as Hetpet, who was close to the ancient Egyptian royals of the fifth dynasty. The tomb includes wall paintings, showing Hetpet hunting and fishing. While Hetpet is a known figure, her mummy has yet to be found.
