Nunes Memo Fails to Make Legal Case Against the FBI
  • 6 years ago
On Friday, the House Intelligence Committee made public a Republican memo, that questions the issuance of a FISA warrant for surveillance of former Trump campaign aide Carter Page. The memo suggests that the FISA warrant application was improper because "material and relevant" information was omitted. This thesis of the memo, compiled by House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rep. David Nunes, shows an idealist vision of the FISA process but is not legally accurate.
