The Vegas Golden Knights have set the record for the most wins ever by an NHL expansion team. After securing the 3-2 overtime win over Winnipeg, the Golden Knights have officially broken the previous record, at 33 wins, previously set by the Florida Panthers and Mighty Ducks of Anaheim in 1993-94. With tonight's win, the Golden Knights remains on top of the NHL's Western Conference with 72 points. It's only Feb. 1, and with 34 wins, the Golden Knights are on pace to make the playoffs.
