Family Feud Gets Ugly: The Situation Estranged From Brother Before Prison

Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino and his older brother are next-door neighbors, but they're now a world away from each other when it comes to their previously close relationship, RadarOnline.com has learned.
"We have real drama," Frank "Maximo" Sorrentino told Radar of his Jersey Shore star estranged brother in an exclusive interview. "It is like any siblings in any family — we have our ups and downs."
The tension, on full display last June when the two battled it out on Marriage Bootcamp Reality Star Edition, came to a head when Mike blocked Maximo on Twitter.
"Mike and I always had a great relationship and then we hit a rocky road," said Maximo. "We had gotten into a crazy fight and that lead to the police being called. But more recently he blocked me on twitter. I don't know why he blocked me. This is the reality of our life."
The timing of the siblings' current low point is especially tough now that Mike faces prison time. As Radar reported, The Situation recently pleaded guilty to cheating on his taxes and faces a sentence of possibly years behind bars, but a judge has allowed him to film the Jersey Shore reunion in Miami.
Unfortunately, The Situation, 35, isn't the only one in the family Maximo is having issues with right now. He recently came out as gay, and while Mike "100 percent" supported him, his father is another story.
"My family was accepting, except my father, who I do not speak to. He does not approve of it and there is nothing I can do," Maximo said.
"I have not had any contact with him," continued Maximo of his dad. "Most recently he made a comment to one of my brothers that he doesn't support or condone my lifestyle. I am proud of who I am and want to help those who have a fear or anxiety of being uncomfortable in their own skin and it is okay to be who you are."
Despite all the issues, Maximo hopes at least he and Mike will be able to patch up their relationship.
"At the end of the day, blood is thicker than water," he said. "I am sure eventually Mike and I will make up."
"Whether me and Michael are talking or not, I still love my brothers dearly," Maximo added. "I am there for them for support, needing someone to talk to and we are just going to try and get through this as a family."
