Union Budget 2018: Demonetisation को Jaitley ने बताया 'ईमानदारी का उत्सव' | वनइंडिया हिन्दी

While presenting the Union Budget 2018 in the Parliament on Thursday, Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley hailed the demonetisation move and stated that it was received by honest tax-payers as 'Imaandari ka Utsav'. Jaitley said tax payer base has risen from 6.47 crore in 2014-15 to 8.27 crore in 2016-17. The budget will be Narendra Modi government's last full budget before 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

वित्त मंत्री अरुण जेटली के आधार पर साल 2016-17 में टैक्स पेयर्स की संख्या में बढ़ोत्तरी पाई गई ... 85.51 लाख नए टैक्स पेयर्स ने रिटर्न फाइल किए जो की उसी साल के मौजूदा 66.26 लाख टैक्स पेयर्स की संख्या से कहीं ज्यादा थे .. यहां तक की एडवांस्ड टैक्स पेयर्स की संख्या में भी बढ़ोत्तरी दर्ज की गई .. जेटली का कहना था कि मौजूदा केंद्र सरकार वो हर संभव कोशिश करेंगी जिससे कालेधन की रोकथाम की जा सके और टैक्स पेयर्स को इसका लाभ मिल सके.. यहीं वजह है कि ईमानदारी से टैक्स पे करने वालों ने नोटबंदी को 'ईमानदारी का उत्सव' के रूप में देखा और सराहा ।
