Ebay to Replace PayPal as Main Payment Option Ebay announced on Wednesday it will stop using PayPal after 15 years. The company entered an agreement with Amsterdam-based firm Adyen. PayPal will still remain an option for shoppers but at the end of 2020, the payment option won't be featured ahead of debit and credit cards. PayPal was Ebay's main payment provider since 2003.
