Police have released footage showing the shooting of Axell Vivas, a man who they say killed his wife before engaging in a standoff in which he pointed his gun at police. The standoff took place in a south Las Vegas suburb on January 26.The suspect hid behind a car as officers tried to talk with him. He was said to have said that he wanted to die and popped up over the hood of the car a number of times.Police said that they were called by Vivas’ 16-year-old stepson who said that Vivas had shot his mother.
