Ford Freestyle unveiled. The global unveils of the Ford Freestyle in India sees the American carmaker enter the compact utility vehicle for the first time. The newly unveiled Ford Freestyle is based on the Figo hatchback currently on sale in India and will be launched in the second quarter of this year.

The Ford Freestyle is powered by an all newmember of Ford's 'Dragon' line of engines. The all aluminium 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder engine is the most powerful in its class and produces 94.6bhp and 120Nm of torque. The engine is mated to an all-new five-speed manual gearbox from Getrag.
