Waymo has ordered thousands of minivans from Chrysler as they gear up for a ridesharing program in the Phoenix area.
The Google self-driving subsidiary has been using hundreds of the Pacifica Hybrid minivans for the last two years, but their existing motor pool has been for testing purposes.
Now, Waymo is preparing to launch a ridesharing program as a live-test in the Phoenix area, offering rides to residents in a self-driving Pacifica Hybrid.
