Daly River Park Flooded Following Heavy Rainfall

A tourist park in the remote outback Northern Territory town of Daly River was inundated with floodwaters on Wednesday, January 31, after heavy rain.Residents were evacuated as the Daly River continued to rise and the Darwin River Dam started to spill, NT News reported. According to the ABC, evacuees had been housed in Darwin’s showgrounds since Monday, many of them airlifted by helicopters.This footage shows the Banyan Farm Tourist Park under water.
