MAN CITY 2 CARDIFF 0: Manchester City ease their way into the fifth round of the FA Cup after a routine victory over Cardiff City, who failed to offer much in this game. Kevin De Bruyne and Raheem Sterling are the players with the goals this afternoon but there was a number of controversial decisions against the Citizens, including a disallowed Bernardo Silva goal.

Cardiff weren't up to the test this afternoon and their performance was largely disappointing. The Welsh side were never really expected to get anything from this tie but they never really showed any intent. Neil Warnock's side will now be fully focused on the Championship promotion push, though they'll be without Joe Bennett for the upcoming cash with Leeds.

For Manchester City, it's another hurdle easily jumped over. They'll certainly be the side to avoid in tomorrow night's fifth round draw and we're now entering the stage of the competition when things start to heat up. The immediate challenge for the Citizens is a Premier League clash with West Brom on Wednesday evening, as they continue their stride towards the title.
