The following video presentation contains a close look at a mock-up of the Bombardier Flexity Freedom on display at the 2016 Honda Indy Toronto by Metrolinx.
The Bombardier Flexity Freedom light rail vehicle has been slated for use with Toronto's Eglinton Crosstown LRT line by 2021 with other planned uses on the drawing board. At the time this video presentation has been posted, Metrolinx has expressed concerns regarding delays in receiving a test vehicle. As of December 2017, a total of 76 Flexity Freedom vehicles will be ordered for the Crosstown LRT line. Alstom Canada is now slated to supply 61 vehicles in a new agreement.
