A wild elephant was filmed on Saturday crossing a checkpoint between China and Laos.

Showing utter disregard for the security barriers and without even so much as flashing a passport, the enormous creature wandered over the border in Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture to search for food.

Two hours later the elephant decided it had had enough of foreign travel and crossed back over the border to China.
