Plane Makes Emergency Landing on Freeway in Costa Mesa

A small plane made an emergency landing on a freeway in Costa Mesa, California, on Sunday, January 28.Motorists saw the plane parked on the 55 Freeway, close to Del Mar Avenue, the Los Angeles Times reported. No one was injured in the incident, the Costa Mesa fire and rescue department said.This video, taken by Victoria Martinez, shows the plane on the freeway, surrounded by emergency service vehicles.The pilot subsequently told KLTA that his plane had suffered engine failure.
