There are ways to differentiate whether or not you have a flu or the cold.
The CDC released an infographic that breaks down some of the differences.
For instance Flu Symptoms appear abruptly, while Cold symptoms are gradual.
It is also common to get chills when having the flu. It is extremely uncommon when you have a cold.
It is also very rare to have headaches when having a cold and it’s extremely common when you have the flu.
Either way drink plenty of fluids, take naps, and stay home to prevent other from catching what you have.
