Bears burned in California wildfire get acupuncture and fish-skin bandages to help them heal

In the wake of Southern California's massive Thomas wildfire, the CDFW captured adult bears that had severely burned their paws. Veterinarians then bandaged the bears' paws in tilapia skin, marking the first time tilapia skin has ever been used on an animal in this way.
