Padmaavat set for pan-India release today; fringe groups run amok, torch threatres

But fringe groups are hell-bent on stalling the release. After the Gurugram school bus was attacked on Wednesday, schools in Noida have closed down for students' safety. Meanwhile, the Multiplex Association of India has said that the film would not be screened in Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Goa. Will the states rein in these goons is the big question.
